Just testing out embedding an flv file from blip.tv – When it appears that Blip.tv have disabled the inclusion of flv files in their RSS feeds replacing them with mv4 files – has anyone else seen this? Anyway this is an old flv from a feed embedded using the flv plugin and the syntax explained in the comment of the London indymedia post.
One thing that you don’t get with this method of embedding is a Still from the Video – it’s just a blank black screen. This is because even though you can override the default set up with flv embed plug in to show a ‘poster image’, this image needs to be in the same URL as the flv file and the same name excepting the extension which should be ‘jpg’.
Luckily this is exactly how Hyper active is set up to work.
